3. User Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Service.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security

We reserve the right to limit or suspend access if usage patterns indicate abuse or violation of these terms.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

  • Content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content
  • We do not guarantee the completeness or reliability of summaries

6.2 No Professional Advice

Our Service does not provide professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.). Do not rely on AI-generated content for professional decisions.

7. Subscription and Payment Terms

7.1 Subscription Plans

  • Free Plan: Limited monthly usage with basic features
  • Pro Plan: Monthly subscription with enhanced limits and features

7.2 Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

7.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds for unused portions of subscription periods

8. Refund Policy

8.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

  • New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of initial subscription

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days

8.2 Refund Exceptions

No refunds will be provided for:

Step 2: Formal Complaint

If initial contact doesn't resolve your issue:

  • Required Information: Account email, detailed issue description, supporting evidence, desired resolution

Step 3: Third-Party Mediation

  • Available for unresolved disputes by mutual agreement
  • Mediation costs shared equally between parties
  • Mediation results are binding

8.4 Special Circumstances

AI Content Accuracy Disputes

  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI-generated content
  • Compensation for AI errors is limited to the monthly subscription fee
  • Users are responsible for verifying critical information

Service Interruption Compensation

  • Unplanned downtime 4-24 hours: Proportional subscription extension
  • Unplanned downtime over 24 hours: Full month refund
  • Excludes third-party service interruptions (e.g., Google AI)

Auto-Renewal Disputes

  • Full refund if disputed within 72 hours of charge and service unused
  • 50% refund if disputed after 72 hours but service unused
  • No refund if service has been used

8.5 Credit Card Disputes (Chargebacks)

We encourage users to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their credit card company. Chargebacks harm both parties and may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension during investigation
  • Permanent account termination if chargeback is found invalid
  • Reporting to fraud prevention databases
  • Legal action for fraudulent chargebacks

8.6 Anti-Fraud and Abuse Prevention

To maintain service quality for all users, we monitor for:

Suspicious Activities

  • Multiple refund requests within 30 days
  • Heavy service usage followed by refund requests
  • Multiple accounts to circumvent limits
  • Providing false information in disputes

Our Response to Abuse

  • First Offense: Warning and account notation
  • Repeated Offenses: Account suspension and investigation
  • Severe Violations: Permanent ban and service refusal
  • Legal Action: Reserved for fraudulent activities

Account Restrictions May Apply If

  • More than 2 refund requests in 60 days
  • Chargeback rate exceeds 1%
  • Clear pattern of fraudulent behavior
  • Violation of these Terms of Service

8.7 Dispute Time Limits

  • Billing disputes must be raised within 30 days of the charge
  • Service quality disputes must be raised within 7 days of the incident
  • We maintain records for 90 days to support dispute resolution

9. Intellectual Property Rights

  • You retain ownership of content you submit to our Service

9.2 AI-Generated Content

  • AI-generated summaries are provided without warranty

  • The Summdy platform, technology, and branding are our property
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology
  • Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

10. Privacy and Data Protection

11. Service Modifications and Termination
